SERVICE AREA I'm based in the 48320 zip code area and conduct sessions within a 10 mile radius. If you live more than 10 miles from that zip code there will be a mileage fee of .38/mile round trip beyond the 10 mile radius. My session fees are very competitively priced, and I now have to charge this mileage fee due to the increasing cost of gas. It is a small fee that will allow me to keep my session fees at an affordable price. Just a note that the IRS current standard mileage fee is .58/mile, so I've even discounted the per-mile fee! Mileage fees are payable according to our Payment Policy.
REMEMBER ... 8 out of 10 dogs end up in a shelter due to behavior issues, primarily from the lack of proper training or the mis-use of training techniques. If you can afford the dog you must also afford the training! Keep your dog from becoming another sad shelter statistic! Start working with a professional trainer knowledgeable in the proper use of positive reinforcement methodology. Start the week you bring your dog to your home.
PAYMENT POLICY Individual sessions require a 1-hour $68 non-refundable payment to schedule the session date/time, plus mileage fee if applicable. PayPal is the standard form of payment, or a check may be sent and cleared by the bank 3 days prior to the session. If there is a balance due, it will be required at the completion of the session - cash or check only. All sessions must be pre-paid before an appointment can be scheduled. Dates and times are not considered booked until payment is received. Payment must be received within 24 hours of scheduling date/time or the session is automatically released without further notification. You will be required to complete our enrollment form when scheduling the first session. Please phone us to book your dates! 248-232-3655
BASIC GOOD MANNERS - WHAT YOU SHOULD START WITH First, YOU need to learn how your dog thinks and learns along with the proper way to be your dog's leader (it's not fear, force, intimidation or mimicking a dog). Then you and your dog need to learn Eye Contact, Sit, Down, Leave It, Drop It, Stay, No Jumping, Come When Called, and Loose Leash Walking. These can be combined into a package discount and generally require 6-8 hours of sessions.

Do I Go Home Today? By Shelia Thompson My family brought me home cradled in their arms. They cuddled me and smiled at me, and said I was full of charm. They played and laughed with me they showered me with toys. I sure do love my family especially the girls and boys. The children loved to feed me, they gave me special treats. They even let me sleep with them all snuggled in the sheets. I used to go for walks, often several times a day. They even fought to hold the leash, I'm very proud to say. These things I'll never forget - a cherished memory. I now live in the shelter - without my family. They used to laugh and praise me when I played with that old shoe. But I didn't know the difference between the old one and the new. The kids and I would grab a rag for hours we would tug. So I thought I did the right thing when I chewed the bedroom rug. They said I was out of control and would have to live outside. this I did not understand, although I tried and tried. The walks they stopped, one by one, they said they didn't have time. I wish I could change things, I wish I knew my crime. My life became so lonely, in the backyard, on a chain. I barked and barked all day long to keep from going insane. So they brought me to the shelter but were embarrassed to say why. They said I caused an allergy, then they kissed me good-bye. If only I'd had some classes as a little pup. I wouldn't have been so hard to handle when I was all grown up. "You only have one day left," I heard a worker say. Does this mean I have a second chance? Do I go home today?
