| PAYMENT POLICY Individual sessions require a minimum 1-hour non-refundable payment to schedule the session date/time, plus mileage fee if applicable. Multiple sessions require payment in full when booking the first session. No dates are held without prior payment. If you are booking three hours+ of sessions, the entire fee must be paid up-front in order to secure the discount as well as book the dates. Please note that not all sessions will be one hour; some sessions may require two hours which will affect the actual number of sessions. PayPal is the standard form of payment, or a check may be sent and cleared by the bank 3 days prior to the session. If there is a balance due, it will be required at the completion of the session - cash or check only. All sessions must be pre-paid before an appointment can be scheduled. Dates and times are not considered booked until payment is received. Payment must be received within 24 hours of scheduling date/time or the session is automatically released without further notification. | BASIC GOOD MANNERS - WHAT YOU SHOULD START WITH At our first session we talk about what YOU need to learn about how your dog thinks and learns, along with the proper way to be your dog's leader (it's not fear, force, intimidation or mimicking a dog). Then you and your dog need to learn Eye Contact, Sit, Down, Leave It, Drop It, Stay, No Jumping, Come When Called, and Loose Leash Walking. These can be combined into a package discount and generally require 6-8 hours of session. The goal is to complete the training in 6 hours over four sessions (2 hours the first session, 1 hour the second and third sessions, and 2 hours the 4th/final session). Sometimes, however, there are interruptions in your home or you have a lot of unanticipated questions. Some people have few questions while others have many questions, and it's not possible to anticipate that when packaging the sessions. So we shoot for 6 hours/4 sessions, and adjust from there as needed to complete your goals. OTHER LEARNING IDEAS (the lessons listed here may require more than one hour or one session depending on your goals and needs; ask me if you need something not listed here)

Do I Go Home Today? By Shelia Thompson My family brought me home cradled in their arms. They cuddled me and smiled at me, and said I was full of charm. They played and laughed with me they showered me with toys. I sure do love my family especially the girls and boys. The children loved to feed me, they gave me special treats. They even let me sleep with them all snuggled in the sheets. I used to go for walks, often several times a day. They even fought to hold the leash, I'm very proud to say. These things I'll never forget - a cherished memory. I now live in the shelter - without my family. They used to laugh and praise me when I played with that old shoe. But I didn't know the difference between the old one and the new. The kids and I would grab a rag for hours we would tug. So I thought I did the right thing when I chewed the bedroom rug. They said I was out of control and would have to live outside. this I did not understand, although I tried and tried. The walks they stopped, one by one, they said they didn't have time. I wish I could change things, I wish I knew my crime. My life became so lonely, in the backyard, on a chain. I barked and barked all day long to keep from going insane. So they brought me to the shelter but were embarrassed to say why. They said I caused an allergy, then they kissed me good-bye. If only I'd had some classes as a little pup. I wouldn't have been so hard to handle when I was all grown up. "You only have one day left," I heard a worker say. Does this mean I have a second chance? Do I go home today? |

| SINGLE SESSION - All in-home appointments are conducted with a single-session fee of $80/hour plus $20 for each 15 minute increment after the first hour, one hour minimum required. We will discuss your needs over the phone and if you require more than one session there is a 20% discount for three or more hours if all hours are paid in full when booking the first session. All sessions include a customized and detailed email recap of what we worked on, plus phone and/or email support between sessions.
