If you're going away and need someone who understands dog behavior, as well
as being a first-class pet sitter to visit your dogs while you're gone, this is
the option you want!  There is a minimum required schedule of three visits for
adult dogs and a minimum required four visits for puppies who are still in
potty training (and, of course, you can always choose more visits).  

All you have to do is to pick the amount of time you'd like me to spend with
your dog per visit.  Potty/play breaks are normally 20-30 minutes; visits that
include meals are recommended at 45-60 minutes.  I don't charge extra for
multiple dogs, just for the time spent.  No matter what, each visit includes two
potty breaks (when I arrive and again before I leave) and play with lots of
loving and ear scritches.  And, of course, a meal if that's the scheduled visit.

  • The Doggy Home Alone visits are available only within a 5-mile radius of
    48320.  That radius is necessary to enable me to effectively schedule
    all of the services that I offer.  Please phone me if you need something
    different.

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required when booking the dates; the
    balance due the day you depart.  First visit of the day is 8am; last visit
    of the day is 8pm.  Hours before 8am or after 8pm are an option (based
    on availability) for a $10-$20 surcharge per visit.

  • Please note that a 7-day notice for booking, cancellation or changing
    service is required.  If less than 7 days notice for booking the dates, or
    less than 7 days notice for canceling any part of this Out-Of-Town
    service, there is a 25% surcharge on the TOTAL service.  Example: You
    have booked 7 days pet sitting and return home after 5 days, there will
    be a 25% fee on the ENTIRE charge (not just the unused balance)
    before the refund is processed Or: You have a planned vacation leaving
    in two weeks, but don't book until five days before you leave.  There
    will be a 25% fee added to the total charge for less than 7-days
    booking the dates.  It's best to book early!

  • All refunds will be processed the month following the refund request if
    requested by the 15th of the month.  Refunds requested after the 15th
    will be processed the second month following the refund request.  In
    other words, refund requested by May 15th will be processed in June;
    refunds requested after May 15th will be processed in July.

  • While You Are Out training sessions may be used during the Doggy
    Home Alone visits.  The fees will be determined on the training needs in
    combination with the pet sitting visits, making this option a completely
    customized program for you and your dog!
